The death of four boys in Kashmir is undoubtedly a sad event. Naturally anger spilt on the streets. The Army has defended itself saying that it has been very restrained and proessional in its approch.
Such incidents are unfortunate because killings of innocent hit the confidence of the citizens on armed forces. Of course, the army and police work in harsh conditions but in a state like Kashmir such deaths can’t be treated as routine.
Meanwhile, the good news is that nine persons have been convicted in connection with the Best Bakery case. In this case justice has been delayed but surely done at last.
