Who cares for India, you ask? A lot of people do care for India I'd like to tell you, the India that owes as much to Muslims as much to any other race/religion/culture. Despite the Varun Gandhis, Shiv Senas and the Togadias, please continue to have faith in the idea of the real India (a pluralistic and tolerant India). I can only request you to do so and hope that in time you'll see something that'll change your mind to a more positive mood about the state of Muslims in India. As for the media playing judge, it's an sadly unavoidable situation in the dog-eat-dog world of the media today where every headline must be eye-catching. We need to count on the truth of their claims and in case of false accusations or premature denouncements, ensure that they are brought to justice. And as for being choked by a tedious and inefficient judicial process and always getting the wrong end of the stick by the law, I don't think that Muslims are being made a special target. Everyone else has to go through the same pains and it's a problem that needs to be addressed for everybody's sake, not just Muslims! @Mr. Naqqaad:

He is no londer the DGP of Maharashtra but does it now show that for Muslims the complainants, Mr Roy acted as a magistrate instead of a reporter to one. Most of the time State is Police State for Muslims. Waking up in midnight, leaving without a charge after harassing etc. You must be naive to tell that the accused misused his training. You have prejudged his guilt so these words. We have not forgotten Khwajah Yunus who was silenced by the secular police of Mahrashtra. The state government showed it soft hindutva by fast-tracking and getting a HC order so that his mother did not get the compensation. Those days, there was nothing like an IM or home grown terrorists. Not surprising that a person change party and he is in BJP one day, in INC the other and in JD(S) the next. Its like all the western people being hardliners, so who can search for a moderate in them. Do we remember the case of an 'encounter' at Nagpur one summer morning. They very scenes showed us that the things were staged. Nobody claimed the dead. I think dead bodies from a hospital must have been picked up by the cops so that they claim that RSS is at risk. More than 75% of the cops have a soft corner for these organisations and they certainly must have staged it. Any mobile operating muslim is shown to be a techie and chief of an organisation or mastermind and the mastermind of same organisation is claimed by many states. Their shoddy work is the reason that real culprits are free to operate. Can anybody think that a so called Muslim org can attack Samjhauta express where most of the to and fro passengers are supposed to be Muslims? After the demise of Karkare, we find that things have gone under carpet. The soft Hindutva of the INC is also at its best practice. That is the reason I always talk about the 'merit' and 'competance' of the supposedly fairly selected educated officials and their knowledge of duties. I concede here that we are fast catching up to hollow India in competition with Pakistan. Unfortunately we Indian Muslims are too few in comparision with Pakistan to take our nation out of the impeding crisis. 'The greater the mass, greater is the momentum'. How to manage is my worry. They are of all type like wireless or wired from BSNL to Airtel to TaTa to Reliance. The thought behind this behaviour is the fat wallets which can afford 'unlimited' plans and to avoid call via a toll-free to the service provider for enabling the security or any hiccups if the user is not well versed. Again this proves the 'IT enabled' of the users and the disdain for security as if the police and Muslims are responsible for that. Sadly, it has been our national trait that those who were 'haves' never bothered for the country while belting out all the accusition for being responsible. To them the poor are supposed to lick the roads and sip the drains so that they get American or European and Arab standard cities. The work of the 'educated non muslim meritorious' professional is showing India. We need to laught and weep on this fall. Lets get up early in the morning and get down to work in right earnest.
