I felt very bad about the photograph, Big people should know the real pain of the independence and the worithiness of the Indian Flag, Its is equal to stamping their own mother on their feet, These type of people should be punished.

The lady (Shri mataji) in picture is daughter of late PK. Salve, a freedom fighter who sacrificed his life, money, everything for Independence. Shri mataji herself stayed in Gandhi ashram and took part in Indian freedom struggle.
She is about 90 now and what happened was not noticed by her and was done by a foreign follower whose intentions were just to bless the nation but the way he did was absolutely wrong. Once the flag was noticed it was removed.
I know the image hurts every Indian and we are sorry for that as it was just an accident.
