Friends, In democracy anybody can ask questions- so here are some more. Investigate it too.
1. The ATS was about to declare Pragya and Purohit innocent. Fearing Hindu backlash Antulay organised the attack to get the ATS officers eliminated.
2. The INDIAN MUJAHIDEEN terrorist disclosed that the profit generated by smuggling drugs from Afghanistan via Karachi-Mumbai- to Europe by Dawood Ibrahim was used for the IM terrorist attack. They also disclosed that balance of the profit was being used by DAWOOD to buy arms for Taliban who are KILLING US SOLDIERS. Disclosure of above by ATS would have resulted in DAWOOD being eliminated by USA. So he organised the Mumbai attack using PAKI Terrorist and using the same durg smuggling route to eliminate ATS officers.

Since you believe so much in your theory
1. Why should a Swiss Banker be carrying the currency blocks of many countries from Kathmandu to New Delhi?
2. And what unique secrets could he have possibly have that he needed to be escorted back?

Did you even consider the possibility that Masood Azhar is actually a RSS man in disguise who needed to be delivered to the allies of Bajrang Dal based in Kandahar?

The decision to release the terroists were taken after the botched up attempt to stop the plane in Amritsar. Govt. took the decision that it felt was best at that time. There were many mistakes made and important part is that more than 300 people were saved. For the future we can choose to be better prepared. Please note from the article about the prevailing sentiment in India at that time.

Mr.Amit, I went through Kanchan Gupta’s write up on “Truth behind Kandhar”.I am sorry to say that like many,I too could not get at the truth! The Two vital questions connected with “Kandhar Episode” are:(1) Did the Ministerial colleagues,including Dy.PM. and Home Minister, Advani knew that Foreign Minister Jaswant Singh would travel to Kandhar with released Terrorists? and (2) More important, was the PM aware of it? Gupta’s reply is very elusive! She says:”The answer is both Yes and NO!”
What do you make of it? One blogger has made it very clear that The Foreign Minister’s immediate presence was necessitated by US’ insistence that a Swiss banker, who had the original currency blocks of world’s many countries and who knew all currency secrets, should be saved and let off at any cost. So Jaswant Singh did not go to keep up his promise to the relatives of hostages as Gupta claims.

Nice story written by Gupta, After NDA came to power terrorism were on the rise, even after the incident no one from the cabinet were sacked, now people like Gupta coming into public rescuing the cowardly decision made by PMO for releasing the terrorists, moreover people like you appreciating the act……..

It will be quite proper to add a tailpiece to the much adoed controversy on Antulay’s remarks about the killing of Karkare and senior police personnel of Maharashtra.The BJP,Siva Sena Nad their allies stalled the Parliament for days and Antulay was gralanded with many attributes ,including ‘anti-national!’ On the 18th December, in a TV channel interview, BJP’s Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha, Jaswant Singh,hs asserted that releasing of noted terrorists from Tihar jail and taking them to Kandhar and swapping them for highjacked plane passengers, “Was the right decision!”andI will do the same thing, if such situation arises in future!”Neena Vyas in “A Tale of Two Statements”(The HIndu dated 25/12/2008 -OP-ED page)concludes that:”What Mr. Antulay said may have been ridiculous -but what Mr. Singh said is disastrous for a nation that has taken the pledge to fight terrorism to its death!”Has not this weakened India’s case?Is it not like an open invitation to potential hijackers and hostage takers?asks Neena. Why this double standard?

Well, you are talking about responsibilties in Democracy, are these responsibilities you are talking about ?

Until Hemant Karkare investigation result, hindutva media and political parties were doubting on muslims, even they were told unless local muslims support, terror attacks were impossible in India, based on that theory, after every incidents without primary investigation blame any terror outfit, arrested local muslims youth based on suspision, without any proof, harrased the muslims, even some of them charges with TADA and POTA. Moreover you want to see the example of responsibilities in democracy take the example of Gujarat !

Moreover you said what he has done for this country, atleast he has not demolished the mosque, even after taking the oath with high court, atleast he dare to bring the truth in front of the world.

As far as Pakistan is concerned they got the lesson in 1971, when Indira was PM, they didn’t dare to look at India again, people like you and hindutva forces are making pakistan a hero, by linking every incident to Pakistan, in order washing hand with their responsibilites.

Time and again, people are misquoting Antulay and creating a furore.

The three officers who were martyred were very key persons, and their being pushed into a situation where they could be killed so easily definitely needs investigation.

Not conducting an enquiry would trivialize their martyrdom. There should be an enquiry.

One thing is clear from the frenzy of people who use the ‘Fundamentalist’bogey (Rajdeep Sardesai of CNN iBN) that be you a President, PM or Cabinet Minister, if you are a Muslim, the MOBOCRAZY tries to shout you down. Who were the people blaming Mr Karkare for conducting the arrests in Malegaon blasts. Nobody bothered to raise their voices which includes the ‘alpolo-secularists like Sarfaraz. Miyaan, if you carry a name like ‘Sarfaraz’ and may be you wine and dine in choicest whiskies and pork, the tag will be always of ‘you Muslim’. So instead of proving yourslef India this way, you can continue to offer namaz and be a TRUE muslim so that you are not becoming a terrorist like Amir Ajmal Qasaab, drinking alcohol and asking for pizza. A true Jehadi will not kill a person, not even an opponent of one wants to negotiate, set side an innocent person and ask for food on gun point. Please do not add your bit to the defamation bandwagon. Even if Muslim State Actors act like what USA and Israel does in their field of action, you would be blamed for that as well. Wasnt the dispensation at Makkah and Madinah a ‘State’, still there are fools who apply this modern ’standards’ to that medieval time. You must be aware that ‘Munafiqeen’ and ‘Kafireen’ think this way only. Let me clear the things here that if a Hindu lives on the ‘Vedas’, in a scholarly opinion, one cannot be called a ‘Kafir’. Unfortunately, majority of Hindus are not living this way. People need to do more than but being apologetic. If the Commissioner of Bombay failed in his duty to guide the ATS (in field operations), he should be taken to task. Nobody should try to shield him just because his name sounds to be Muslim. So stands good for the DGP as well and the Maharashtra govt.
PS: If a candidated seeks votes visiting localities of his constituency, a Muslim candidate need not visit a muslim locality lest he is branded pampersing to vote bank, conversly, a fanatic of the class of a Shiv Sena or BJP, continues to be ‘Nationalist’, may be he instigates Muslims to be killed on the flimsiest of pretext. If this ‘Nationalism’ continues, take it, India goes to ‘DOGS’ earlier.

I am against people like Antulay. In democracy you can ask questions, but in democracy you have responsibility of asking right questions , not the childish conspiracy theories, which in a time of national tragedy turns the whole debate into a free for all farce.

I heard of Antulay for first time in my life and he has self proclaimed himself as a hero for merely a conjecture and because he was mobbed by admirers while praying in a mosque. WoW. What has he done for this country of perhaps for so called minorities, can anybody shed some light on it!! Why the hell do we even need a minority minister!! People like him, from any community are detestable and so are those who support them.

People like Antulay are bloat on democracy anyway. Problem is that there are many mane like him in this country who think that democracy is merely about conjecturing and childlike fantasies.
